🧵 Construction Overview

The Sailor Slippers are knit flat in stockinette stitch, beginning with the heel panel.
Stitches are picked up along the heel edges, extended across the top of the foot, and worked from ankle to toe.
The sole is then knitted from toe to heel, with the top and sole joined using mattress stitch.
An applied i-cord edge finishes the opening, followed by washing and felting to achieve the final shape and density.
